
Cabinetmaking (Part 3 of 3)

Prerequisite: Shop Orientation course. Please be sure to attend a session before March 4. See calendar for upcoming sessions.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Learn how to design and build the carcass for a basic cabinet out of a single sheet of plywood. We’ll also discuss options for doors, shelves and drawers.
Meets over 3 sessions of about 3 hours each. Additional shop time may be scheduled if needed (no additional cost).
Thursday, March 4, 6 pm: We will guide you through your design, help you sketch a plan and create a materials list and cut list.
Sunday, March 7, 3 pm: Process panels according to the cut list using the table saw and circular saw.
Sunday, March 14, 3 pm: Joinery and assembly.
