Make a Cutting Board

You must bring your own PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, face mask) or you may purchase a set of glasses and earplugs with your registration.
We’ll show you how to design and lay out your board for visual appeal and strength. Choose your woods and glue up/clamp the pieces. Note: average board size is 1 to 1.5 inches thick and approximately 10 inches wide by 14 inches long. Boards must remain clamped for at least 24 hours before step two:
Session 2: By appointment, to be scheduled during session 1. Takes about 2 hours.
Trim and sand the board, shape the edges if desired, then finish with food-safe oil.
