Learn the basics of shop safety and community woodworking and use some of the most common equipment in the shop. You’ll make a small project to keep and use on future visits.
Orientation is required for shop membership, punch card users, and the Basics of Woodworking series. This class is NOT required for individual project classes unless otherwise noted.
You may bring your own safety gear (eye and ear protection, dust mask) or purchase a set from us with your registration. Teens ages 13-17 are permitted with adult in attendance.

- Chop Saw
- Table Saw
- Band Saw
- Drill Press
If you wish to receive training on the following, we can schedule a followup session at no additional cost (1 hour max)
- Drum Sander
- Large Bandsaw (for resawing)
