Class details
Make a hardwood cutting board in this two-part class -- perfect for novices, and a fun project to do with a partner! Tools used include the planer, table saw, router table, and sander.
Session 1: Design and glue up your board. Finished dimensions are about 10x14 inches by 1" thick.
Session 2: By appointment, scheduled during session 1. Plane, trim, and sand the board, then finish with food-safe oil.
UPGRADES -- Look for these add-ons under the main ticket pricing. Please note that they are priced per board if multiple boards are in your order.
Add a Juice Groove: Use a router to carve a channel for runoff.
Exotic Wood:Â Add striking strips of purple heart or padauk (red-orange). Two strips per order, each 3/4 inch wide. Be sure to order for each board in your party if desired, or if you want more pieces for a single board.
Add a Partner: Make one board together with a friend! Select both Individual Admission and Add a Partner at checkout.
Kids age 12 and up are welcome with an adult in attendance.
