Class details

Want to know a secret? No board is truly flat until you square it. In this class we'll show you how to use the jointer, planer and table saw safely and effectively to make your lumber straight, flat, and square. We'll also help you understand wood movement and grain direction, and how it can affect your results.

Squaring up lumber is an essential woodworking skill. This class is strongly recommended for anyone interested in going on to build furniture, boxes, and anything else that requires square surfaces for joints.
