Ready for a next-level cutting board class? Build an end-grain board in this 3-part workshop. End grain is prized by chefs for its durability, and you'll love the way it looks. We will also provide a selection of patterns to make your board an eye-catching work of art that's still practical for everyday use. Tools used include the table saw, planer, router table, and sander.
SCHEDULE
Session 1: Design and glue up a face-grain board, following a provided pattern if you wish
Session 2: Plane and trim the first glue up, then cut into strips for second glue-up showing end grain
By appointment: Trim and sand the board flat, then finish with food-safe oil.
