Class details
Learn to use hand saws and boring tools in this single session of our Hand Tool Academy series. You'll learn about the many varieties of these tools and their uses; top techniques for making precision cuts and holes; and tuning up your tools. If you have your own saws, "egg beater" drills, bit braces, etc., please bring them.
About the series
Our complete Hand Tool Academy series teaches fundamental techniques for traditional woodworking with hand saws, planes, chisels, scrapers, spokeshaves, and more. These classes are the prerequisite for our Hand Tool Joinery classes.
