Intro to CNC Routing

CNC routers are transforming the craft of woodworking and sparking new levels creativity! Join us to learn the basics of programming and operating this high-tech tool. A CNC makes it easy to achieve precise, repeatable results, compared to using a traditional router or hand tools.

In this class, you'll take what you've learned to create a router template for future use and a custom carved sign.

Session 1

Wednesday, Oct 8: 6-8 pm

This session will introduce basic information about the CNC as well as safety. We will focus on setting up our designs on the computer.

Session 2 by appointment: About 2 hours

To be scheduled for the following Saturday or Sunday whenever possible.

You will transfer your designs from the computer to the CNC to cut and carve your final projects.
