Class details
Skill level: Intermediate
A box joint is created by cutting a set of complementary, interlocking profiles into two pieces of wood. The glued box joint offers a large glued surface area, which results in a strong bond. Common applications for box joints include -- surprise! -- wooden boxes, drawers, and cabinet carcasses.
We'll use a table saw outfitted with a dado stack to make these cuts. Some experience with the table saw is strongly recommended for this class.
Single class tuition: $90
Single class materials fee: $15
