PREREQUISITE: Intro to Woodturning or basic turning experience
Make a pair of hardwood candle holders on the lathe! You may size them for tapers or tea lights, and shape them as desired, with expert guidance. The base will have a dish to catch hot wax drippings and save your surfaces.
Face shields are provided. Dust masks are recommended.
Class fee: $75
Materials fee: $25
DRESS CODE
- Wear a closed-collar or high-necked shirt or jacket to keep shavings out
- Closed-toe, slip resistant shoes or boots required; prepare to stand for 2-3 hours.
- Tie back long hair/beards. No drawstrings, scarves, or other dangling items. NO jewelry on hands.
