PREREQUISITE: Intro to Woodturning or basic turning experience
Make a handle for an ice cream scoop or a pizza cutter on the lathe! This is a great first project for the beginning woodturner. We'll provide the hardware for the business end of the utensil, and you'll make the handle out of your choice of provided hardwoods.
Face shields are provided. Dust masks are recommended.
Class fee: $75
Materials fee: $25
DRESS CODE
- Wear a closed-collar or high-necked shirt or jacket to keep shavings out
- Closed-toe, slip resistant shoes or boots required; prepare to stand for 2-3 hours.
- Tie back long hair/beards. No drawstrings, scarves, or other dangling items. NO jewelry on hands.
