Build a stylish side table or stool with a robust cherry wood top and modern hairpin legs! This is an ideal first furniture project for beginners.
In this two-part class, you will square up the lumber for the top and learn proper technique for joining the boards to create a panel. Then, you will use the bandsaw to cut your panel into a circle, and learn the basics of using a router to give the edges a nice, rounded finish. Finally, we'll attach the metal legs.Â
We will offer guidance about choices and techniques for finishing. You will apply the finish on your own after the class is completed.
