SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate to Advanced
PREREQUISITES: Shop Orientation strongly encouraged, or proficiency with the table saw, miter saw, bandsaw
Build a small, elegant Shaker-style table using both power and hand tools. Techniques include gluing up a panel for the top, mortise and tenon joinery, and crafting tapered legs.
The finished tabletop will be about 20 inches square. The table will stand about 25 inches tall.
Basic woodworking experience is required for this project, including experience with the table saw. All materials are provided. We will provide guidance on recommended finishes; you will complete this step on your own.
