Build a simple bookcase using easily sourced dimensional lumber. This project serves as a good introduction to the basic principles of casework and simple joinery. The bookcase will have three shelves, including the bottom shelf. Tools used include the miter saw, table saw, router, and drills and drivers.
The final dimensions of the bookcase will be approximately 2 feet wide, 3 feet tall, and have shelves that are 12 inches deep.
