Construct a simple bookcase -- in one day! -- using readily available dimensional lumber. This project serves as a great introduction to the fundamental principles of casework and basic joinery. The bookcase will feature three shelves, including the bottom. Tools used include the miter saw, table saw, router, and drills and drivers.
The final dimensions of the bookcase will be approximately 2 feet wide, 3 feet tall, and have shelves that are 12 inches deep.
We will take a lunch break midway through the day.
