Class details
Join us to learn how to carve a spoon from hardwood using both traditional and power carving methods. We will use various tools, including a bandsaw, belt and disc sanders, as well as hand tools like carving gouges, drawknives, and spokeshaves. The spoons will be finished with food-safe oil.
Children ages 10-17 are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian, and each participant will create their own project. (If you would like to bring more than one child, please contact us directly before registering.)
