PREREQUISITE: Intro to Woodturning
Step 2 in our woodturning series for beginners! You will have your choice of projects assembled from a wooden piece turned by you and a provided hardware kit. Available projects may include*
- Pens
- Bottle stoppers
- Bottle openers
- Seam rippers
For an additional fee:
- Ice cream scoops
- Pizza cutters

We'll guide you through shaping the wood for its intended purpose, working with bushings and other accessories to achieve the right fit, and further refinement of your woodturning technique. Finally, you will sand your piece and apply finish before assembling the final product.
Face shields are provided. Dust masks are recommended (N95 or better).
DRESS CODE
- Wear a closed-collar or high-necked shirt or jacket to keep shavings out
- Closed-toe, slip resistant shoes or boots required; prepare to stand for about 3 hours.
- Tie back long hair/beards. No drawstrings, scarves, or other dangling items. NO jewelry on hands.
